Welcome to the first December post! Though many people don’t like winter, this month brings joy and happiness to everyone. It’s a magical time when we become kinder and more positive. This it the ideal month for watching cute Christmas commercials, listening to classical hits, cooking your favorite dishes, and getting inspired by relaxed Scandinavian interiors. Today I invite you to visit a modern white apartment with functional furniture.
The apartment is relatively spacious – 61 m². White walls, furniture, and a lot of light coming from large windows make the dwelling look even bigger. Similarly to the general atmosphere, the furniture is functional, open, and movable.
Different textures, textiles, and plants blend harmoniously in a black and white living room that is separated from the kitchen by a part of the wall. Open shelves with old cookware contrast nicely with the relaxed style of this modern white kitchen. As for the lamp over the dining table, it’s a classic lighting fixture PH5 created by Poul Henningsen in 1958. Combining the elegant look and innovational structure, it soon became popular.
There are no classic wardrobes in this bedroom. Clothes and other things are hidden by curtains. The headboard stores books and plants. Providing the storage space, the furniture String becomes an interesting functional addition to this room.
In general, the apartment attracts me with its simplicity. Everything becomes evident starting from the hall where shoes are stored in old wooden boxes while clothes hang on a metal tube. However, this simplicity combines well with functionality, creating the atmosphere that makes me really like this modern white apartment.
